Do you believe in signs? Are you really paying attention to them? How about fate? Today I found out that an opportunity that I thought would have been just perfect for me is no longer available. I went through the normal thought process of what I could have done differently to make this happen, why was I too late to act on it? After dumping on myself and thinking of all the actions I should’ve taken. The words were written right in front of me “You are exactly where you are supposed to be”. For some reason, as we live this life, we lose sight of our instincts and our inner voice. We can’t hear the whispers or even sometimes the brick walls falling down in front of us to lead us to our certain path. I truly believe our path is there and if we could just turn up our whispers and actually carefully listen, we will be free to accept our mistakes, our downfalls and trust that if we have missed an opportunity, it was never an opportunity at all and if it is what we were meant to do, it will come back two fold. I watched an Oprah show last night called Master Class, I’m guessing it was in honor of her last show after 25 years. I have wondered so many times, how did she get so lucky, how was she always in the right place at the right time? Wow, she has the world in the palm of her hands! After listening, really listening to her speak, I understand what has made her so special to so many people in this world. Even if you are not a fan of hers, just see if you find anything useful in her words below. I couldn’t help but write down what I learned from her master class. I hope that you too can learn to not be so hard on yourself when you feel lost or that you missed an opportunity. Maybe you too will see that luck has nothing to do with life, it is listening, trusting yourself, remembering the connection we have to eachother and respecting it always.
